Sojido was founded in the year 2025. This company was inspired by my mother, who has owned a cleaning company for 15+ years. I worked under her wing during those times. Cleaning was never a passion for me. I always thought it was a bother, but my mom would pay me to help her out. The extra dollars would help me pay my bills or from time to time, buy some cool stuff. As year the years passed, I realized that there was spiritual connection during the process of cleaning and every time a job was completed, this connection transformed into clarification. It became apparent that cleaning was not just a job, but a spiritual practice in itself. I believe the act of cleaning is a transformative experience for the cleaner and the people and environments we service.

As a martial artist practitioner, I found connections between the discipline and principles of cleaning and the martial arts I practiced and realized that the principles they share are universal.

These two connections brought forth the company name Sojido. In Japanese, Soji means “cleaning” and Do means “The Way”,
